Connecting with your Cards
Hey Everyone!!
Today, I am going to talk about connecting with your cards. How can we do that? Is there some secret form or spread to help? Maybe, but I don't know it.
Connecting with your cards is a very personal thing, I am going to share some of the ways that have connected with my cards, and some of the ways that I am trying to connect with cards at the present moment.
- Keeping the deck on my altar is one very easy way to connect with a deck. I just walk by and shuffle and draw a card. I read the guidebook portion for that card, and leave it there all day. This helps me to be able to look at it and draw from it what I need.
- Shuffle, Shuffle, Shuffle, then just to be safe, shuffle again. It is a great way to mingle our energy with the decks energy. If you have a desk, put your cards there while you are working and shuffle them in your downtime. **I would only do this at home. You can carry your deck to work, but other people might not understand and you wouldn't want your deck to be around negative energy.
- Speaking of negative energy, Cleansing and Clearing your deck is of the utmost importance. I usually do it once I open a new deck, but I do it periodically for my others as well. There are several ways to do this such as smudging, placing a crystal on the deck, holding the deck and imagining white light going through it, and any other way that you feel comfortable with. It's all about your relationship with the deck.
- Sleeping with your deck under your pillow. This really got people talking when I posted about it on my Facebook page and to a Tarot Group on Facebook. Why on earth would you sleep with 78 cards under your head? Here's why. I feel, and I have read this as well, that when you sleep with a deck, either under your head or on your nightstand, you form a connection with it as you sleep. Sometimes we need our subconscious to open up a bit if we are having a hard time with a deck. Benebell Wen, author of 'Holistic Tarot: An Integrative Approach to Using Tarot for Personal Growth' used this method for the Robin Wood Tarot, I believe. I have heard of this from many other authors as well. However, don't be surprised if you have crazy dreams!

Card of the day, 3/19/2015
Today we have the '9 of Ariel' and 'The Desert Prince' from the the 'Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle Cards'. These cards are very different in nature. The first card talks about dreams being fulfilled and the second one talks about having dry spells in your life. How do this two cards mesh? Let me tell you :).
The '9 of Ariel', tells us that hard work leads to great success and that you have acted with wisdom and that its time to finally relax and maybe pursue spiritual things in your time alone. It also speaks on 'Contentment'.
The 'Desert Prince' card tells us to be brave and courageous. Why is this important when we are going through dry spells? Because giving up keeps us where we don't want to be. Dry spells are a test of faith. The Universe is always testing us, making sure we can walk our talk.
These two cards are linked by one word: Contentment. Contentment is the magic that moves us through our dry spell. When we become content where we are, while actively working towards a better tomorrow, we will be catapulted into good times! Don't be mislead though! Miracles still happen in the Desert!

Card of the day, 3/18/2015
Hello lovely people!!
This next week, I am going to be posting only one card for the day as I am currently sleeping with the Beautiful Creatures Tarot under my pillow for a week :). I wanted to use a powerful deck today, the Archangel Power Tarot! Ariel is the Angel who is closest to earth. She helps us with manifestation and finances (as does Metatron), she helps Animals and environmental causes as well! In this particular deck, The Suit of Ariel is what we would call the Suit of Pentacles or Coins in traditional Tarot. The Six of Ariel talks about balance. Balance between the physical and spiritual and between giving and receiving. Ariel wanted me to tell you this "The Physical is almost always affected by the spiritual, but the spiritual is not affected by the physical."
Our physical situations don't change Spiritual truth, just our perception of it. However what happens in the spiritual, can have a direct correlation to how we feel in the physical. This card talks about that balance between letting our physical circumstances take over our perception and staying spiritually grounded.
When we become grounded and balanced, our material needs and manifestation abilities are going to start being met!
She also talks about being kind to others :)

Card of the Day, 3/16/2015
Todays Beautiful Creatures Tarot card is '7 of Fires'! This card says you are going to have to defend your beliefs and ideals, without coming off defensive. Courage is very important right now, as well as professionalism. Defending your ideas and beliefs takes a certain degree of bravery. Gently explain your beliefs, if you feel the need to. Don't get into arguments or debates because not everyone is going to understand. And that's perfectly okay.
Together, these two cards mean that there is difficulty with people understanding you. Let daydreaming be an escape and take you away for a bit today. Time some quiet time for you!

Card of the day. 3/15/2015
The 'Archer of Fires' from the Beautiful Creatures Tarot, is one of our two cards today! This card is the 'Knight of Wands' in traditional Tarot. As you probably know, Court Cards can be either people, situations, or both. In a person, these particular attributes will be someone who is easily enthused by both the big, and small, things in life. They may also be prone to procrastination. This could also mean that there is a situation that you need to be genuinely enthused about. Avoid being a know it all, but share your wisdom with people who could benefit from it.
Our last card is the "Faery Wishing Well". This card talks about our abilities in the Manifestation arena. When we expect things, whether they are positive or negative, we give power to those outcomes. This card also talks about the ability to make money. We all have the ability, no matter what. Now, if we live in a constant state of defeat and victim mentalities, we are naturally, by the Law of Attraction, going to bring those types of situations into our lives. The same goes for confident, victorious attitudes.
These 2 cards together tell us that, in order to be successful, that we must be enthusiastic about about everything, big and small, in our lives, from finding the right parking space, to getting a raise. Be excited and thankful and you will bring abundance and happiness into your life!!

Card of day, 3/13/2015
Today's card of the day is '9 of Raphael'! This truly is a wonderful card. It talks about dreams becoming a reality and joyful times. Wishes are coming true! This card also talks about being content with where you are in life. Gratefulness opens your life and heart to receive more. Happiness is a feeling that comes from within, as is contentment. Looking for these and outside sources will not bring you what you need, look on the inside.
The 'Beautiful Creatures Tarot' card of the day is 'The Mediator'. This card tells you to start moderating your life. Learn to be content. Change what you can, accept what you can't. Be content with the things in your life and grow from that place.
Together, these two cards complement each other perfectly! The theme of today is contentment. Contentment opens the door for God and the angels to work through and help you!

Today's card is 'Two Little Witches' from the 'Oracle of Shadows and Light'. This card says don't be dismayed at the mundane. The mundane things are there to help us recognize the extraordinary things. Are you thinking about moving? Start taking steps toward the goal you have. Find out those things that have held you down and get rid of them! Make a special space for you!
The 'Beautiful Creatures Tarot' card for today is the '10 of Waters'. This card talks about a permanent, everlasting, happy ending. You are emotionally content. Stay present in the moment and savor it. Count your blessings, and continue to be thankful. Because gratefulness opens your heart to more blessings.
Together, these cards are telling you that once you start making steps towards making yourself happy, and take steps closer to your goals, you will experience that happy ending emotional healing.

Card of the Day, 3/9/2015
Today's card is 'Transparency', from the 'Oracle of the Mermaids'. This card says that it is time to be yourself. Don't live a lie for anyone. Be clear about your intentions and come to an understanding of who you are. Don't worry what others will think, show your true face to the world. Some people won't like it, some people will though. The key is to not care. Be true to you!
The Beautiful Creatures Tarot card is 'The Mediator, this card says that it is time to begin living with the annoyances of every day life, and not let them defeat you. Above all, learn not to give into temptation. Do not invite or attract negative energy into your life. Be aware of all that is around you engage your reactions accordingly in respect to your situations.
Together, these cards say that transparency is important, you will be tempted to go back into your cell once you come out. RESIST!!!!! People are going to have all kinds of reactions Beecave your self grounded in react to others with peace and love. Then, and only then, will you be respected and heard.

Card of the Day, 3/8/2015
Today's card, "Into the Woods", tells us to take that leap and follow our hearts. There is a step you need to take that is outside of your comfort zone. Rest is shared, though, it is to your benefit. Growth doesn't come from comfort, complacency does. And complacency can breed negative and lower energies, and hinder every area of your life.ask for help from Archangel Michael and already out in this area of your life.
The Beautiful Creatures Tarot card for today is the "1 of Airs". This card tells you to take time to replenish your physical state. It's incredibly important, seeing as how your physical self impacts your spiritual self. our physical state also affects our speed of manifestation. So take time to be healthy and to make healthy choices. The "1 of Airs" also talks about coming into money suddenly and windfalls of prosperity!
Together these cards say that being healthy, and making healthy choices, can be hard. But it's worth it. It's hard, believe me I know. Once you take that leap, it will help you to experience many spiritual blessings and growth!!

Card of the Day 3/7/2015
Today's card, 'The Gift', tells you to make the most of what you have and of the beautiful gifts that earth has given you. Everything serves a purpose, even those things the bring us pain. The gift that we have is Manifestation. We can literally control how we approach things to bring us where we need to be. This gift can also be a detriment to us. We have to keep our thoughts positive and our outlook bright to keep our circumstances bright and happy!:)
The Beautiful Creatures Tarot card is "7 of Airs" and it talks about feeling as though something has been taken or stolen from you. But take time to examine the truth of the situation. Don't make any snap judgements just yet.
These two cards together tell us to guard our gifts. Lower energy thoughts can steal them and make us feel angry, sad, and negative. Keep your thoughts high, and your life will follow!
