Mercury Retrograde brings with it a time to reflect on yourself and your life. The Lovers reversed is about hard choices that need to be made. Be sure that you are seeing other people for who they really are and not who want or need them to be. You can want someone to be 'the one' and try and try knowing that that's not what is meant to be. Self Sacrifice is coming up for you this week. This could be sacrificing something you want to do for someone else or for more spiritual practices. It could be as simple as stepping away from the computer to meditate. Keep your loved ones close and let them know how much they mean to you. Miscommunications run rampant during MR.

Tarot and Apps...Is it the Same?
Yo!
So this is the first, non card of the day, post in a while. I want to talk about Tarot Cards vs. Tarot Apps. I know several people who prefer not to use them, and that's awesome. I know some people who choose to use them, but just for fun. I personally use them daily and I will tell you why:
1. I love the ease of access. It is so convenient for those of us who don't carry bags and can't carry a physical deck around with us. It also reduces the chance of physical cards getting damaged while we are out and about. I personally use an App for my card of the day 99% of the time, and have great success with it. This leads me to reason number two.
2. They are just as accurate as your physical deck, if you let them be. I use my tarot apps for readings for clients if I am on the go and don't have a deck with me. I have gotten just as much positive feedback as those readings that are done with a physical deck. For me, Tarot and Oracle Apps are amazingly accurate because I put my energy into them and I set my intention to have an accurate and divinely guided reading. I do the same prayer no matter what type of deck I use, and invoke the same 3 Archangels (Michael, Haniel, and Gabriel) as I normally would. If Tarot Apps don't work for you, think about the reason why. Are you already thinking that it won't work, or be accurate, before you even use it?
3. They are great if you want to try a deck out. I personally have Apps on my phone of decks that I wouldn't buy the Physical Copy of. Not for any particular reason, I just like it better on my phone. But out of the 43 Tarot and Oracle apps I have, I own 33 of them as Physical Decks. For the most part, if the app is made my The Fool's Dog, LLC, you are able to read the entire guidebook for the deck as well. And I don't know about you, but I would rather pay 3.99 for a deck and not like it than pay 25-30 bucks, only to discover I can't connect with it. A prime example of this is The Revelations Tarot, I just can't get into it yet.
4. They are super fun and easy! Most of them let you choose your own virtual Reading Cloth, while giving you tons of layouts to choose from! This is amazing to me, as I love little personal touches like that :)
This post is not to convince anyone to download Tarot/Oracle Apps, only to state my observation about them :)

Hi All,
So I don't know what it is about this Mercury Retrograde (MR for short), but I am inexplicably drawn to the Tarot of Vampyres and the Les Vampires Oracle. I want to say it's because these decks have such a shadow energy to them and during MR, we are supposed to confront our shadow side and deal with it so that we can move forward with our lives. So I know that some of these cards may have confronting images and that some of you may now be drawn to the imagery, but bare with me. Spirit is giving these messages for a reason. So look beyond the art into the heart of the card. We have 'Seduction' today. This is actually the first time ever that I haven't actually drawn a card. This was my personal card for the day and Spirit told me to use it, so here it is. This card has multiple meanings. The first is not to be swayed by material things, the Vampire here can represent these material things, seducing you and begging for you attention. The bloody handprints on the wall are an Omen of what will come if you succumb to materialism. Your spirit will suffer and wither away. Material Comfort is important, don't get me wrong, but one huge lesson I learned recently is that we are Spiritual beings having a Physical Experience. We are NOT Physical beings trying to have Spiritual Experience. Wait, what? Yes. When we put too much focus on the material and physical, we lose sight of the Spiritual and the funny thing is, the Spirit in us, creates the physical world around us! We have lost sight of this amazing fact. The Second meaning of this card is a quite literal one. If you are in a relationship, don't look to others no matter how tempting or alluring they are. Seduction is a POWERFUL thing. The person who may be tempting you has no horse in the race that is your relationship. They will leave you bloodied and beaten, but hey, they got what they wanted. I know this is a strange message to have, but I know it is needed for someone out there. I love you guys so much! My weekly reading is below, and I used this deck for it! So check it out and subscribe to my channel if you haven't already!

Hi!
Todays card falls in, yet again, with the theme of mercury retrograde which is personal discovery and renewal. The seven of knives tells us that it is time to put your problem-solving skills to work! Use your better judgment paired with wit and, at times, cunning to work through certain problems. Are you being taking advantage of? Use your intuition to discern who loves you for you, and who just wants something from you. The card of today is telling you to turn into word on your individuality. Take time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However, while taking time for yourself is a must, avoid extensive separation from others and incorporate others into your life while still maintaining healthy boundaries.

Hello,
We have the Justice card, reversed of course. This card in reverse talks about not being able to move on from your past and punishing yourself for past actions. Be on the look out for self righteousness, or actions and/or words that could be taken as self righteousness and/or hypocrisy. If anything can be taken out of context, it will be during this wonderful time known as Mercury Retrograde. Now, Mercury Retrograde isn't bad like we think. It honestly is a time for reflection and renewal. It is time to accept your faults and move forward. Let it Go.... This card is also talking about overanalyzing being very common right now. Take some time out for yourself today and make the most of the Mercury Retrograde and you will be able to change your life!!

Alright.
Dont freak out at this card, haha. This deck is very confronting but not without just cause. The Five of Skulls reversed talks to us about our shadow sides. Anxiety, loss, worry, and despair resonate with this card. Upright, it offers a glimmer of hope, here however, hopelessness is found. I want to tell you that you are NOT hopeless! You are going to make it through whatever you are facing. You feel utterly helpless and paralyzed by fear. But that's not true. You are brave and powerful!!!

Hello lovelies!!! I was inexplicably drawn to use the 'Tarot of Vampyres' Deck today. I had no idea why until I actually read the symbol section in the guidebook about this card. The Eight of Knives card tells us that we may feel constricted or tied down. We may feel like there is no way out, or that we are waiting on circumstances that aren't within our control. However, as I looked more into this card, I saw that the Author lists kindred spirits that are attached to each card. In this case, we have 2 Angels, Vembael and Yahohel. Now, you may be wondering why these are important. I am about to tell you. As I researched these Angels and found their specialties, I have to say that it goes perfectly with this card. Vembael is the Angel who helps us when we feel that our lives are going nowhere. When we feel this way, we tend to mistrust others because the human nature wants to blame others. Vembael can lead us away from this behavior and guide us to love and trust. Yahohel, which has noticeable similarities to YAHWEH, is the angel who helps anyone who has copious amounts of anger in their lives. He can break the cycle of evil and put us back where need to be. So Anger and mistrust due to our own human nature can be the very things are holding us back or tying us down. Ask these angels to help you overcome any feeligns like the ones mentioned above. This card also talks about tremendous will to press on and finish what you started. I know the imagery is dark, but it's the lesson, not the image that is important.

Card of the Day, 3/24/2015
Today we have the 'Fortune' card from the 'Tarot of the Vampyres'! This is such a wonderfully beautiful card! I was shocked when I first saw it! This card is telling us that the wheel of the Universe is in constant motion, never changing or stopping. It is the wheel of destiny and fate. When we see the Fortune card, it tells us that change and movement are inevitable. Life is full of endings that lead to beginnings and then the end of those beginnings. It is up to us to keep up with this particular movement of the Universe, and adapt to our ever changing culture, thoughts and ideas. Nothing stays the same for long. That is something we have to accept. Change is always for the better, even when we don't see it like that. This card can also talk about unexpected gifts and opportunities! One thing that sticks out to me is that there is the Wheel, but thorns are behind it. This tells me to tell you that the wheel is still spinning during those thorny times in our lives and to never lose hope that things are still working in your favor, even if you are in a garden filled with thorns. When I looked at the Symbolism section in the book about this card, so much is drawn out!! There are 3 Vampyre creatures on this wheel, the serpent to the left who represents the negative force of retrospection and dissipation or decay (winter), the panther to the right which represents the positive creative and active energy that initiates the fires of life (summer), and the Sphinx-like creature at the top of the wheel that is made up of the four elemental animals whose particular role is the preserver and connecters of the other polarities, allowing the wheel to churn out everything into existence. All in all, this is a card rich with symbolism to the point that it is just absolutely mind blowing.
