Chakra Care for your time in Quarantine

So, this time is difficult for the world. We are in a ever evolving storm of uncertainty. I have said this before and will say it again: I will not spiritualize this situation. I will not give health advice. I’m not a fucking doctor so I tend to stay the fuck in my lane. What I will say, however, is that we are Spiritual Beings having a human experience. Not the other way around. We aren’t humans seeking spirituality. We should be following CDC Guidelines and guidance from our local and state officials. But also, we shouldn’t be placing our heads in the the spiritual sand. This is a situation where we are being called to do our part Spiritually AND Physically. 

Do your energy healings, but practice social distancing

Clear your energy, but wash your hands

Use your oils, but don’t go out unless you have to

This blog post is going to focus on the chakras. It’s important to take care of yourself energetically and physically so we are going to be focusing on the spiritual aspect here, seeing as, like I said, I’m not a fucking doctor. So get your pen and paper ready, or not. Whatever.

Chakras are energy centers in your energetic body. Cyndi Dale says in her book “Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Chakras” (a book I am sourcing a lot of this information from as well)  that chakras are organs of the body that manage energy. I love that. We fo the extra mile to take care of the organs we KNOW are there, so too should we be taking care of the organs you can’t see!

We are going to be focusing on the main 7: Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown. By no means is this an end all be all guide, I will give you a book recommendation at the end of the post.

Alright, Let’s start with the first chakra, the Root Chakra.

Color: Red

Element: Earth

Crystal: Ruby, Garnet, Hematite

Sense: Smell (Diffuse earthy scents)/Attraction (Watch Porn or Fuck)

Body Part: Feet

Location: Base of the spine, between the reproductive organs and anus

Angel: Ariel, the Archangel of the Earth and of Manifestation

Helps with: Safety, Security, Survival, and Basic Physical Needs.

When the Root Chakra is deficient, you may experience anxiety, lack of focus and follow-through, financial lack, worry, doubt, and poor boundaries. If the Root Chakra is in excess, you could notice attitudes of greed, excessive spending, hypochondria, laziness and fatigue, fear of change, and super rigid boundaries.

A balanced Root Chakra brings us prosperity, trust in the universe, a sense of ease, common sense, and the ability to manifest what we need in our physical lives. It also brings us the energy that we need and ability to be rooted but not stagnant.

Exercise for balancing the Root Chakra:

Get barefoot. 

Stand up straight. (If this is difficult then sit straight up with your feet on the floor)

Start stomping your feet (if you are not on the first level of an apartment building, please be courteous and lightly stomp)

As you stomp, see a red light at the base of your spine illuminating your genitalia and booty. 

Bring your awareness to any thoughts or feelings of lack, fear, anxiety, poverty, financial insecurity, excessive spending, paranoia, or overeating. 

It’s okay to feel these feelings as they come up.

See those feelings in your root chakra as black dots.

It’s okay if you see a lot of them. 

Take a big inhale 

On the exhale see these black spots leave the root chakra, travel down your legs, and out through the bottoms of your feet. 

As you stomp these black dots, they start to glow with white light.

On the inhale you bring this white light back into your body and down to your root chakra.

Your root chakra glows bright and the light extends from the chakra out to your body and energy field.

Affirmations: 

I am safe

I am secure

I am prosperous

I am aligned 

I achieve my goals

I have healthy boundaries 

I start what I finish

I am abundant 

See? Easy! Do this exercise anytime you need it! Don’t worry about feeling the negative feelings either. Honor them for trying to protect you and let them go. 

Chakra #2: The Sacral Chakra 

Color: Orange

Element: Water

Sense: Taste 

Crystal: Carnelian

Body Part: Testes and Ovaries 

Location: Under the navel

Angel: Gabriel, the Archangel of delivering messages 

Helps with: Emotions, Creativity, Sensuality 

If the Sacral Chakra is deficient you may experience rigid belief systems, lack of social skills and desire, and fear of change. This chakra in excess, however, will shoe up as addictions to sex, shopping, and food/wine along with irresponsibility, seductive manipulation, codependency, and being overly attached to people or outcomes. 

When the Sacral Chakra is balanced, you will experience friendliness, vitality, sensuality, sexual liberation and expression, and a sense satisfaction.

So, this one is a bit saucy and I was expecting for it to get like this, but whatever.

For this exercise, with no pants on, or just in your underwear, sit down cross legged or lay down.

Place your hands over your ovaries or testes

See a radiant orange ball of light covering this area. 

Think of al lot the blocks to your creativity, emotional expression, and sexual expression

Let these blocks sit in front of you and acknowledge them

Thank them for trying to protect you from being hurt

Take a deep breath in

On the exhale, begin to move your hands back and forth over the aforementioned areas.

You can move your hands to the pubic area if it’s more comfortable 

Move your hands until you feel some heat build up

See the blocks dissolve into white, sparkling, light.

As you move your hands back and forth, honor your body for the creativity it inspires

Know it’s okay to express your sexuality in healthy ways

Tell yourself “I am a sensual being. My sexuality gives birth the creativity and emotional healing”

See this white light enter your sacral chakra, making the orange ball of light expand outside your body into your energy field, matching the shape and size of your root chakra.

Do this anytime you need to balance that Sacral Chakra.

Affirmations:

I am a creative being 

I embrace sexuality 

I am sensual 

I am compassionate 

I am friendly

Chakra #3 Solar Plexus Chakra 

Color: Yellow

Element: Fire

Sense: Sight

Crystal: Tiger’s Eye, Citrine, Smoky Quartz

Body part: Pancreas

Location: ...the Solar Plexus

Angel: Metatron for spirituality and Raquel for healthy friendships 

Helps with: Personal Power, Self Esteem, Willpower

I’m sure you can deduce what a deficient Solar Plexus Chakra can manifest as, but I’ll tell you anyway. You may have or experience low self esteem, poor self discipline, a victim mentality, passivity, and a blaming attitude. What happens if it’s OVER active though? Controlling, dominance, aggressiveness, stubbornness, the need to be right, and competition energy.

Damn. That’s a lot, right? Well, if this chakra is balanced, you will most likely experience healthy assertiveness, cooperation, productivity, and mental focus and clarity. 

That sounds a lot better, so let’s do a little exercise! This one is super easy.

Stand in mountain pose, hands together.

Take a deep breath, and exhale

Move your hands to your solar plexus/stomach area

Feel your belly expand and contract with every breath

See a beaming yellow light in this area

I want to you feel, see, and acknowledge all of the shit that’s hacked away at your self-esteem and power

See it clearly and call it out verbally if you need to.

See all of those things as whispy black energy in this yellow ball of light.

Using your hands, pull out this energy and throw it up into the air.

As it leaves your body, it turns white.

Do this as much as you need to.

When you’re done, see all of that whispy white light come and surround your body

Let this light strengthen your energy field and then flow back into the yellow ball of light

The yellow light expands  into your body and energy field, matching the root and sacral chakras.

Affirmations:

I am powerful

I am aligned

I am assertive

I am focused

I am intelligent

I am decisive 

Chakra #4 The Heart Chakra

Color: Green

Body Part: Heart

Sense: Touch

Crystal: Malachite and Rose Quartz

Element: Air

Location:...You get it

Angel: Raphael, the archangel of healing, health, and relationships

Helps with: love, relationships, and forgiveness 

If this isn’t doing what it’s supposed to, you will experience inability to forgive, loneliness, lack of empathy and self-love, apathy, indifference, and no self love. If it is doing the absolute most, this you will experience jealousy, egotism, and codependency.

So, after it’s balanced you will most likely have easier experiences with forgiveness, self-love, compassion, motivation, and acceptance.

Okay so let’s balance it! 

Put your hands on your heart

Take some deep breaths

As you listen and breathe, let go of any bitterness and hatred

Chakra #5 Throat Chakra

Angel: Sandalphon, the angel of creativity and delivering prayers

Helps with: Communication and Expression

If your throat chakra is deficient, you will probably be experiencing being too precise and not able to express your truth. If your throat chakra is doing a lot, then you will probably be gossiping, talking too much, stuttering, loudness, compulsive behaviors, and overeating.

If it’s balanced, you will have positive communication, expression, and creativity. You will also experience contentment.

Let’s Balance and Clear!

Find your favorite song

Sing to it

As you sing to it, see a glowing ball of blue light in your throat. 

To more you sing, the more negativity leaves this chakra.

Smile as you sing, knowing the energy is coming back as pure positivity

Keep singing and see this positivity make the blue light expand to match the sizes of the other chakras!

Chakra #6 Third Eye Chakra

Color: Violet/Indigo

Body Part: Pituitary Gland/Eyes

Sense: Sight

Crystal: Lapis Lazuli and Clear Quartz

Element: Light

Location: Between and above eye brows

Angel: Haniel, the Archangel of Clairvoyance and Psychic Abilities and Raziel, the Archangel who heals blocks to spiritual gifts and imparts universal wisdom.

Helps with: Perception, Clairvoyance, and Vision

When this chakra isn’t functioning properly, you ma have difficulty planing for the further, not be able to see the obvious, memory loss, and lack of joy along with anxiety and perception issues. When this chakra is super hyper, though, you will notice fantasizing, difficulty concentrating, obsessiveness, delusions, and nightmares.

A perfectly working ThIrd Eye Chakra brings a strong intuition, positive use of imagination, being able to see the big picture, see and perceive the spiritual realms and being able to take aligned action.

Let’s balance this bitch!

Do this in any position you want to, it really doesn’t fucking matter.

Take three deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Cup your hands in front you.

See shimmering rainbow liquid light coming down from the Universe and fill your hands.

When your hands are full of this liquid light, bring them up to your third eye and let the light wash your third eye clean of any debris keeping you from seeing guidance from the spirit realm.

Do this as many times as you feel are needed.

When you are finished, see your third eye chakra grow to match your other chakras.

Affirmations:

I am Clairvoyant

I see things as they are not how I wish they were.

I see accurately and clearly

I see and follow the guidance from the spirit world.

Chakra #7 Crown Chakra

Color: Violet/White/Gold

Body Part: Brain shit like that

Sense: No sense associated due to it’s nature not being tied to anything physical

Crystal: Apophyllite

Element: None

Location: Top of the head

Angel: Michael, the Archangel whose name means “He is who like God” and the Archangel of protection and safety

Helps with: Spiritual Connection to the Divine/Universe

If your Crown Chakra is clogged (aka Deficient) , then you will probably see it manifest as a lack of purpose, ethics, and joy. Being a selfish and materialistic asshole, along with just a general sense of defeating attitudes will be the norm. Now, if it’s going and going like the energizer bunny, you may experience an addiction to spirituality as a way to bypass what you are needing to deal with. You will experience a lack of grounded decision making and run the risk of succumbing to superiority complexes.

A perfectly balanced Crown Chakra will result is not being driven by ego desires of recognition, fame, or fortune. You will be able to step back and see the bigger picture and adapt the “As Above, So Below” Mantra and put it into practice.

Last Exercise!

Since this chakra is one that connects you to the Universe, it also connects all of the other chakras to each other, this exercise will incorporate all of the chakras.

Be in whatever position you want. 

See a pillar of blazing white light come down from the Universe. 

Let this light sit on the top of your head, clearing your crown chakra of anything that is hindering your connection to source energy.

Just see it dissolve away.

Let this light hit all of your chakras, clearing away any psychic debris.

As this light hits every chakra, affirm “My _____ Chakra is perfectly balanced”.

When the light hits your Root Chakra, see every chakra grow (or shrink) to be the exact same size.

The optimal level is to have them almost outside of your body, touching your energy field.

Once they are balanced, let the white light surround you and sit in it as long as you want to/can.

Affirmations:

I am connected to the Divine.

My ideas are divinely inspired.

I am perfectly attune to my spiritual power.

I can think clearly and responsibly.

TA-DA!

How to Channel

So, thinking about channeling? Let’s chat!

I did a Podcast called “Suddenly Seeking Spirit” with my friends Andrea and Andrew on the topic of channeling and that’s what inspired this post!

If you are reading this, I have a pretty good idea that you have heard about channeling. Even more likely is that you’ve seen channeling done in movies where a psychic’s eyes roll back in their head and their voice sounds like gollum from lord of the rings.

That’s not what real channeling is. 

Channeling is a natural form of communication between humans and angelic beings, nature spirits, non-physical entities, or even animals and pets. This definition is one I found from www.cirmsoncircle.com that I really resonated with.

Channeling is, and should be, natural. We are spiritual beings first. We are pure energy and energy can’t be destroyed, it just changes. So, why does it look so goddamn hard and why do people feel like it’s out of their reach?

Well, your ego is why. We are worried about a lot of things like lower energies, “demons”, and feeling like we are making shit up or imposter syndrome. 

Stop that shit. You can do this. Not only can you do it, it can change your life. To give you some perspective, I have been reading tarot for 7 years, I’m a Medium which means I talk to dead folks, and I psyched myself out about channeling for the longest time. 

Then it hit me. Out of nowhere. I didn’t need to take expensive courses or sell my soul ( I don’t think). 

I just started. I will share my process for how it started in this post later on. 

My guide I channel is named Francisco. He has never been human and is from a whole other dimension and galaxy and offers insight about his observations of the human experience.

Channeling is something that has changed a lot for me. I can access this wisdom and guidance anytime I need it and so can you. 

We are the ones who build our own blocks to our success. Spiritual Success, Financial Success, Romantic Success, all of it. We don’t see something as possible for us, so we just ignore it and keep showing ourselves reasons why it won’t work. 

Here are the reasons why channeling can, will, and should, work for you:

• You are already divine as fuck and don’t need to do anything extra

• You have a whole Spiritual Team WAITING to contact you

• You are more powerful than you know and give yourself credit for

• You are pure love, you just have to see it

I asked Francisco for a message for you all about channeling are here is what he wanted to say:

“I want you to not think about how the guidance will come, what it will sound like, what it will feel like or what should happen. The biggest hindrance to all of your progress in all fronts is your expectation of what it should b, there is that much more times a million that you don’t. When you release that need to control, when you release that expectancy of what your experience will be like, that is where we are waiting to meet you. That is where your guidance is. When you lat down the need to control what the experience will be and the desire to coordinate every detail, you find the magic you are, and have been, looking for”e from your limited viewpoints. As much as you think you have control over the world around you.”

So here is a quick exercise to help you channel as you write. Also keep in mind your handwriting may change. That’s totally normal so don’t freak out.:

Supplies:

• Paper

• Pen/Pencil

• Oracle Deck 

The oracle deck is technically optional, but I found that when I first started channeled writing it gave me a topic to focus on. You can also find oracle card apps and decks online to draw cards from if you don’t have a deck yourself! I personally love Colette-Baron Reid’s website (CLICK HERE), you can draw cards from some of her decks for free!

Okay, so just sit with your paper and pen or pencil in front of you. 

Take some deep breaths and really get comfortable.

Release all tension in your shoulders, jaw, and neck.

Shuffle your cards (virtual or physical) and find the card that sticks out.

Pick that card. I got a card called “Water” with “Emotional Well-being” as the subtitle.

So, knowing that’s the topic I will channel guidance about I start the process of calling in the angels and guides.

Don’t worry if you don’t see them or what they look like. Just see white light all around you. 

Let this white light shine and fill up the room.

Tell them what the topic of the guidance will be and take some deep breaths. 

Let go of your own thoughts and feelings and expectations.

Start listening to that small voice talking to you and write down what it says. 

You can tell it to slow down if it’s going too fast.

When it stops, stop. Then review what you wrote.

You may find that you zoned out, that’s totally okay and normal! Eventually, you will get to the point where you won’t need that paper and pen and can just speak what you are hearing. It took me almost 10 days of consistent channeling to get to the point where I couldn’t keep up with just writing and had to start speaking it into my voice memos. It may take you more times, it may take you less. The important thing is to go at your own pace!

Goal Setting with The Emperor and the Angels

Welcome to 2020!

I know we have been here for over a week now, but I haven’t had the time to actually sit down and write this thing!

You can glean from the title that we are going to be talking about Archangels Michael and Uriel, The Emperor, and what it means for us.

Archangel Michael from The Angel Tarot and Archangel Uriel from the Archangel Power Tarot

2019 was a 12 Year, which associates us with the Hanged Man in the major arcana. So, if 2019 felt a little off kilter or like you were treading water, that is why. The hanged man doesn’t move. He gracefully swings by his feet while offering you a chance to reconnect with your true perspective. Likewise, if you felt turned upside down and shaken like a mother fucker, that’s his energy as well. However, you moved on, you’re here. Now let’s get down to business (to defeat the huns) with the Emperor and Archangels Michael and Uriel.

2020 (2+0+2+0=4) brings us the gift of things being set right. The Emperor doesn’t fuck around, nor do they entertain bullshit. Much the archangels associated with the cards in the Angel Tarot and Archangel Power Tarot, Michael and Uriel, the Emperor gives us the chance to clear away the nasty shit that we have been carrying with us and brings us the gifts of structure, logic, willpower, determination, and ambition. 

Associated with the sign of Aries, the headstrong, independent, and steadfast goat of the Zodiac, The Emperor comes to help us sweep up all the dirt, and tie up loose ends. Much like the sign of Aries brings us Spring, the Emperor brings us the opportunity to do some spring cleaning. This includes your mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional spaces. Don’t carry things that aren’t yours to carry any more. Ask yourself “Is it logical to carry these burdens?”, “How does carrying these burden negatively impact me and those around me?”.

How does this work with Angels? I am so glad you asked. Michael and Uriel (I’m going to call them the Sparkly Strong Arm of Heaven) can add that Angelic boost act you are looking for to help you achieve your goals and leave behind the things that are longer serving you, while helping you remain accountable for the the situations that you perpetuated, and they do it in a loving way.

Archangel Michael is the bouncer of heaven, no negativity gets though him. 

Archangel Uriel is the Light of God, nothing escapes him. He can make sure you hit your mark!

These two angels can bring you into powerful alignment with the Emperor energy of 2020 by aiding you to only work on what is going to further your path. If something is a dead end, leave it alone and walk away. If you are setting goals this year, ask Uriel to shine is light on them and ask Michael to protect not only your goals, but your personal energy field as you move through this year.

Working with the Sparkly Strong Arm of Heaven (SSAOH) is a guaranteed way to align with the Emperor energy and to see your goals come to fruition. Oh, you want an exercise to help you? I’m glad you asked!

What you will need:

• Pen

• 2 Pieces of Paper (or a notes app)

• Tea Light Candle (if you want)

• An Emperor Card (Picture or Physical Card)

1: Write down your goals on one piece of paper

2: Place the Emperor card on top of your goals (or simply draw the Aries Glyph and the number 4 on it if you don’t have access to a card)

3: Visualize Gold Glittery Light and Bright Purple light covering your goals. These are the colors for SSAOH. 

4: If you feel comfortable say the following prayer: “ Archangels Michael and Uriel (or Sparkly Strong Arm of Heaven), Please bring attention to my goals. Help them come to fruition in my mind and in my energy field so that I can see them in the physical world. Please protect my goal from any lower vibrations and negative energy and show me the next actionable steps to achieve these goals in the way that Emperor would. Thank you for helping me to remain focused, steadfast, determined, and dedicated to my goals and for helping me see them through. So it is”

4: After you either say the prayer, or sit with the Gold and Purple Light for a while, take out your second piece of paper and immediately begin to write action steps that feel good to you. Let your pen be guided by the Archangels.

5: Once you are finished, keep your goals and actions steps in a place where you can see them and know that the Angels have your back!

Here’s to a wonderful 2020 with the Sparkly Strong Arm of Heaven!

Worry? Or Rise?

Worry. Worry. Worry. Fear. Doubt. Worry. Worry. Worry.

What does any of the above words solve? Nothing. 

What do they help with? Nothing. 

Do they heal or hurt? Hurt.

The card that is closely associated to, if not the epitome of, the words above is the ‘Nine of Swords’. That is the card that I drew tonight to write about. 

A few things are associated with this card:

• Insomnia
• Anxiety
• Worry
• Fear
• Doubt

If you find yourself in this space, it is so very crucial to remember to simply breathe. Don’t freak out when things seem like they are out of your control. They are out of your control for a reason. That reason is this: YOU ARE NOT IN CONTROL! 

No matter how much you think you are, you are not. At all. 

Now don’t freak out on me here but think about it, we plan our lives before we come to earth. We plan every major event that we face. Now, along the way we have choices about the minor things in life, sometimes even things that are major to us. But these ‘Majors’, are simply non negotiable. They happen. We are not in control of those things. So when they do happen, we have a choice: Embrace it or Run from it. 

If you embrace it, you will see a side of life you never knew was possible. You will finally ‘see’ that wonderful, brilliant light that is you. If you run from it, you will continue to feel hopeless, lost, and anxious for A LOT longer but you will get to that same point of enlightenment. You will just be even more battered and bruised when you do. 

So, it is your choice..

Spiritual Gifts Spread!!

This spread is one that I made while in the Tarot Foundations 2 course at Biddy Tarot. I love this Spread so much! It was so insightful for me, and I know it will be for you as well. I posted this on my Page, but I wanted to put it in a Blog so you guys will be able to find it easier, and I am going to explain a bit more about it as well.

    So this Spread is set up with 2 columns of 4 Cards, read from left to right, as you can see by the Numbers on each card. 

    This can be used with Tarot or Oracle cards (even BOTH!) 

Lets say you have 2 not-so-happy cards across from each other. What would that mean here?

    Let’s say it’s the 9 of swords and and the 3 of Swords in the position of Clairvoyance. 

    This could mean a couple things but most likely suggests that there may be a degree of fear or worry regarding what you will see and that that fear is crippling you from achieving the purpose that you desire.

    So, don’t fret when you see the challenging cards! They are there to help you! :)

The Devil!

The Devil.

-I apologize for some of the language in advance-

This is not going to be a post full of flowery goodness, heads up! haha

Throughout time, The Devil has invoked fear, anger and been the blame behind pretty much every wrongdoing ever.

A little bit about ‘The Devil’: 

Christians believe that the Devil was once an Angel, an Archangel actually, named Lucifer. He rebelled against God and now is wandering the early looking for people to deceive and take to Hell on Judgement day. 

I most definitely, with respect however, call ‘bullshit’ on that whooolllle idea. All of it. Every last bit of it. I don’t believe that The Devil really even exists. Humans are capable of enough evil without some mythical guy running around causing panic and chaos. I have no tolerance or patience for it. 

Let me assure you: There is no Devil. Everything is fine. Go about your business.

Alright, enough of that. The reason I talked about that is because The Devil Card in Tarot gets such a bad wrap. People get scared of it. They don’t know how to accurately tune into the power and wisdom that this card has to offer.

The Devil in Tarot could mean many things. It could mean that you are too bound to the material aspects of life, a slave to trends and fashions. It could indicate addiction as well, overindulgence in pleasures to the point of ruin such as sex, alcohol, fame, money, and drugs. Geez, that sounds horrible doesn’t it? Enough to almost make you want to stop reading this right now and throw away The Devil card from every deck you own! However, before we go off the deep end, let’s continue talking about this card.

You may saying “Andrew, why would this card be one of your favorites when it has such negative meanings?” Here is my answer: The Devil talks about human nature. It talks about the Ego, and being a slave to thoughts that hold us back and keep us from our true potential! Going back to Human Nature, we are all pure creations made of light, in the image of God (or whoever you like to worship or pray to)! This card is a call to RISE UP and not be afraid of who we truly are! 

Our Ego has one job, to keep us from reaching our true potential by employing tactics or fear, worry, stress, negativity, addiction, greed, anger, bitterness, and resentment to keep us trapped in a low vibration so that we won’t receive that guidance we need from heaven! 

The Devil isn’t bad, nor is it negative. It simply a kick in the ass for you and I when we need it, when we are stifled by the cares and concerns of the physical world when it drags us down.

So, what is hold you back? What is The Devil wanting to show you? Are you feeling trapped? Are you self sabotaging? Are you speaking, thinking, and feeling from a negative space, causing self fulfilling prophecies? Are you repeating lies to yourself that are keeping you from your true power and potential?

If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of these, here is some tough love: Cut that shit out. You are ONLY hurting yourself. No matter how hard to cling to bitterness and anger and negativity, it will NOT get you where you want to be. So stop it. 

Ask Archangel Michael and Archangel Jeremiel to shield you from negativity and show you areas that need changing in your life, body, mind, and spirit. After this, how you proceed is your choice and yours alone.

Patience is a Virtue...but still sucks

Patience is a Virtue…

But let’s get real. Waiting sucks. Waiting for what you really desire is really hard. It is a cruel trick from the universe that we can’t have what we want, when we want it. But you have to think about it like this: What would you do if you never had to wait for anything? You and I would probably become a bit of an ass….just being real. 

The inspiration behind this post is the ‘7 of Pentacles’. I have grown pretty attached to this card, and I still have to say that I still suck at waiting and being patient. It’s a human thing, and I am working on it….stop judging me haha.

For real though, this card is not just about patience and planting the seeds that will grow, this is about having the right type of attitude while you wait. 

I heard a preacher I used to L-O-V-E say this, and I still wholeheartedly agree: “Patience isn’t waiting, it’s how you act while you wait”. 

So, what are you waiting on? A job? A relationship? Money? Remember that how you act while you wait for it determines how fast you will get it! Thoughts, words, actions, and feelings have tremendous power to deter our goals or speed them toward us. 

We just passed the New Moon, so we are in a time of crazy manifestation! So you have to be sure that you are high vibe-ing, and getting your spiritual stuff together! Whatever you are putting your focus and attention on is what you are bringing to you, that is a cold, hard, fact. 

How do you raise your vibration? 

• Being Grateful
• Meditation
• Praying
• Laughing
• Listening to happy music
• Complimenting people
• Shielding yourself in the light of your favorite color to protect your energy
• Journaling 
• Talking to your Angels
• Playing with your pets
• Spending time with friends

The list goes on and on….but basically says this : DO WHAT YOU LOVE!! That is the quickest way to a High Vibration!

If you are thinking about negative things, then your life is pretty much going to suck….just being honest…

However, if you are bring positive, then your life is going to reflect that positive and the Law of Attraction will bring what you are putting out into the Universe! 

So, dear buddy, pal, and friend of mine,

Manifest that positivity into your life and don’t get impatient if you don’t see a change within 5 seconds! It’s coming!! I promise!!

Be The Empress of your life! You to fellas!

Hello All!

Blog post time, again! 

I have two cards today, ‘The Empress’ and ‘Be You’.

Living authentically is something that has been coming up a lot for a lot of people. Authenticity is honoring all sides and aspects of yourself in a way that is freeing and liberating to you mentally, spiritually, and physically. 

The Empress comes to us as a reminder to nurture ourselves and embrace that feminine energy of receptivity and love. We all want to manifest money, abundance, and prosperity in the physical world, but what about in our spirits? Everything that we see on the outside is a direct reflection of what is going on inside of us. There is a song by Alanis Morissette called “Underneath”, and it is literally my jam (find it linked below) because it talks about the direct correlation between our heart and the physical world. 

The Empress is a gorgeous card, a woman who is in touch with her power and her creativity and her light. You can benefit from her wisdom even if you are a male, so get that notion out of your mind, right now (shakes finger). Be prepared for a lot of work ahead, you are getting tons of guidance right now that is unlocking the person that you want to be and person that Universe says you already are. This guidance is meant to be acted on, not sat around and played with. 

‘Be You’ is telling us that it is indeed a challenge to live authentically, and that it is imperative we take every opportunity to be our true selves.

*Example* I recently got a new District Leader at work and she asked what brought me to DC. I had the option to either say“my roommate and I moved up her for ‘xyz’” or “my boyfriend and I moved up here for ‘xyz’”. 

Being gay isn’t something that I advertise, not that I am ashamed in any way, shape, or form, because I honestly don’t give a shit haha, but I just don’t like to throw it in people’s face, it isn’t necessary to me. But I had the option to care, or not to care. And I decided not to care, and it felt really good!!! So that is my example**

These two lovely cards are telling you to use the power of The Empress to launch yourself into a brand new world of authenticity and badassery! haha

Get Moving...

Hello Lovely people!

So I promised to blog more often, so here I am...again...haha. I try to write things with substance that don't waste your time, so I am going to actually talk about things now haha.

I was shuffling my Lumina Tarot deck, which I do whenever I am sitting at the table in my spare time, and I wanted to pull a card, and write about it. So I drew the 'Maiden of Cups'. This is traditionally the Page of Cups, for those not familiar with Tarot.

The message of this card is to pay attention to and, most importantly, TRUST the information that your Higher Self is giving you. This is a time of new beginnings, and your inner child is influencing you right now so you may be starting to see things and believe things that you once simply wrote off. 

Whatever ideas you are getting, you are supported in bringing them to life! Just make sure that you are fully dedicated to idea or project before you share it with others. This prompts a question: What is this card telling you personally? What dreams, projects, or goals have seemed unreachable in the past? Journal this out if you need to.

Sometimes we lose sight of our dreams and ambitions because life just seems to toss us around like a rag doll, leaving us feeling beaten, bruised, and incapable of achieving greatness.

This is B.S.! You have got what it takes to do more than you have ever dreamed of, and don't let one person tell you anything else. You are an amazing, confident, all around badass! 

GO FOR WHAT YOU WANT!!

Hi!  

The "King of Earth" pops up for us today! I love the energy of the Kings. Ths particular King comes with sign of abundance and prosperity. For me, the new iPhone launches tomorrow so it's quite relevant to me. This card is about success. You are entering into a time where success is yours if you take those steps into opportunities offered to you. Don't look at the 'what could go wrong', and look what is already going right! Literally everything you do right now will be successful. This being said, we are Mercury Retrograde so don't start really new ventures, businesses, or make big purchases. Instead, until this MR is over on the 9th of October, focus on cultivating yourself to be ready to take those leaps. Opportunities can still be offered to you, just tell them you need a few days to think it over. I actually did that once and realized, after taking a step back, that it wasn't an option I needed to pursue. Either way, success is yours!!!!

COTD 6/22/2015

Mercury Retrograde brings with it a time to reflect on yourself and your life. The Lovers reversed is about hard choices that need to be made. Be sure that you are seeing other people for who they really are and not who want or need them to be. You can want someone to be 'the one' and try and try knowing that that's not what is meant to be. Self Sacrifice is coming up for you this week. This could be sacrificing something you want to do for someone else or for more spiritual practices. It could be as simple as stepping away from the computer to meditate. Keep your loved ones close and let them know how much they mean to you. Miscommunications run rampant during MR.
